Dr. Dubbs is recognized as a HealthierFeds Leader by demonstrating his own commitment to health and wellness and by extending that commitment to supporting medical center employees.

Leading by Example

Bill Dubbs, MD is the Chief of Staff at the Jack C. Montgomery VA Medical Center in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Dr. Dubbs has been an exemplary leader at the medical center in setting a positive example of living a healthy lifestyle and promoting employee wellness. He is a role model for how important it is to maintain a healthy diet and to exercise regularly. He serves as an example for other physicians and for his administrative staff, as well.

Leading through Support

Dr. Dubbs is a strong advocate for the medical center’s employee wellness program. He has supported the employee health provider, Jim Madison, and given Jim the resources needed to assist employees in pursuing a healthier lifestyle. Dr. Dubbs has been integral to the implementation of the Fit for Life and Weight Watchers programs. In addition, he has been instrumental in the success of other employee health programs at the medical center and enhanced their growth. Through his position as Chief of Staff, Dr. Dubbs has had a positive impact on his staff’s health and on the health of other medical center employees.
